What examinations are reasonable?

First of all, we have to find out the target of the implantation treatment. The kind of denture which we are aiming at, is the question we give priority to. It is followed by the examination and, if necessary, the recording of additional clinical findings. Depending on every single matter, we use the following methods:

Röntgenologische UntersuchungsverfahrenX-ray examination

Teeth and areas of the jaw are examined to detect possible diseases. Especially in the field of implantology we give priority to the analysis of the bone bedding available.

New methods to examine the bone bedding using less radiation, are now at hand as we use digital technology. It also ensures not to hurt any relevant structures and makes the surgical intervention invasive at its minimum.

Model analysisModel analysis

With the help of impression plasters we create model dentures. The biting position is analyzed and teeth are positioned on this model for later attention.

Such examinations are made for patterns for further x-rays which are then used for bur patterns at the implantation.
